– I often underestimate my uniqueness and professionalism.

– It seems to me that I have nothing special to offer and that any competitor can do better.

And on and on… Familiar?
Devaluation of yourself and your achievements, lack of confidence in your work, inability to start the desired activity for a long time, fear that you will be exposed as incompetence – all these can be signs of the impostor syndrome.

In fact, impostor syndrome (or impostor syndrome) is a medical condition that is characterized by a feeling of being constantly deceived by other people. People with this syndrome often claim that other people are trying to change their thoughts or actions, and they experience a constant sense of paranoia and trust in other people. This state can also include illusory ideas and superstitions that have no connection with reality, not to mention mental abnormalities;)
Most often, people do not know how to control their thoughts and feelings, and this just leads to the depreciation of themselves as a professional and the fact that we cannot enjoy life.

To stop devaluing my professionalism, I made several decisions for myself:
– train confidence: I talk to myself and tell clients about my experience and achievements.
– appreciate your strengths and evaluate development areas: I compare what I want with the result and mark completed tasks every day.
– and most importantly: always control your thoughts and feelings and ask yourself about the cause and root of negative thoughts.
By adopting these simple actions, I qualitatively improved my sense of self.

Important!
1. Developing Self-Esteem: Being aware of your accomplishments and abilities can help you become more confident in your professionalism.

2. Getting feedback: Asking for feedback from peers and bosses can help you understand your strengths and areas for improvement.

3. Designing Goals: Setting clear and achievable goals for your career and working towards them can help you feel more confident and succeed.

4. Skill Development: Continuously developing and improving your skills can help you feel more competent and professional.

Some important tips for professionals and businessmen: – Develop your self-respect through understanding your worth and accomplishments.

– Associate with positive people – surroundings with support and understanding will help raise your value to others.

– Develop communication skills – the ability to make statements and express your opinion will help you understand your value system.

– Develop critical thinking – the ability to critically analyze your thoughts and feelings will help you correctly assess the situation and resist the negative influence of others.
